Grand Valley State freshman golfer Nicolas Vincent has been named GLIAC Men’s Golfer of the Week following his first collegiate win. He earned the win at the Midwest Collegiate, shooting rounds of 68, 69, and 69, to advance to a playoff, which he won. Vincent made 14 birdies across the three rounds at Rock Hollow Golf Course in Peru, Indiana. The Lakers took runner-up as a team, their second top two finish this season, joining their team title at the Midwest/Central Preview Tournament. This is the career first golfer of the week honor for Vincent.
