GVSU's Gill and Bradley receive GLIAC baseball player and pitcher of the week honors

GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its awards following the seventh week of the 2026 baseball season. Grand Valley State swept the awards, with senior first baseman Jovan Gill earning GLIAC Player of the Week recognition and senior righthander Collin Bradley garnering GLIAC Pitcher of the Week honors.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Jovan Gill, Grand Valley State
Grand Valley State senior first baseman Jovan Gill played a key role in #8 Grand Valley State's four-game sweep over GLIAC foe Purdue Northwest. Gill hit .588 for the weekend, going 10-for-17 with four home runs, two doubles, 24 total bases, six RBI and six runs scored. Gill hit three home runs in a twin bill sweep on Saturday and added a fourth in the Sunday finale. Gill tallied a slugging percentage of 1.412, on base percentage of .588 for an OPS of 2.000. Gill leads the GLIAC in RBIs with 43 and eclipsed the 100-RBI mark for his career with his first home run Saturday. 
PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Collin Bradley, Grand Valley State
Grand Valley State senior pitcher Collin Bradley continues to be dominant on the hill in 2026. Bradley improved to 5-0 on the year with eight scoreless innings in the series opener, yielding just three his with six strikeouts in the 3-0 shutout. Bradley allowed just one baserunner to reach second base in the outing. Bradley has not allowed a run in 24 innings and has allowed just two unearned runs in his last 32 innings pitched. Bradley leads the GLIAC and ranks fifth nationally in ERA (0.60). He has 20-7 career mark, ranking fifth in career wins at GVSU. He has a 3.35 career ERA and is ninth all-time in strikeouts with 159. Bradley leads the nation in walks allowed per 9 innings (0.49).
