GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its first weekly awards of the spring season for conference men's and women's golf teams. Grand Valley State senior golfer Andrew Gwilliams was honored.

Grand Valley State senior golfer Andrew Gwilliams was named the GLIAC Men’s Golfer of the Week for the first time in his career. Gwilliams placed third at the Tennessee River Rumble, helping lead GVSU to a fifth-place finish. The native of Bradford, Ontario, Gwilliams carded rounds of 71 (-1), 70 (-2), and 69 (-3), to finish at six under. He sank 11 birdies over his three rounds, to claim his seventh top 10 finish of the season. Gwilliams is currently ranked 14th in the country by Scoreboard.
