GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its awards following the fourth week of the 2026 baseball season. Grand Valley State swept the awards, with senior centerfielder Jake Skaggs and senior righthander Collin Bradley receiving honors.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Jake Skaggs, Grand Valley State
Grand Valley State senior centerfielder Jake Skaggs hit .750 (6-8) with eight RBI, five runs scored and 11 total bases as GVSU won the first two games at Missouri S&T. Skaggs had a slugging percentage of 1.375 and a .818 on base percentage for an OPS of 2.193. In addition, he was 2-for-2 in stolen bases, walked twice and was hit by a pitch. Skaggs hit a grand slam and added two doubles, while reaching base in 9-of-12 plate appearances.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Collin Bradley, Grand Valley State
Grand Valley State senior pitcher Collin Bradley improved to 3-0 on the season with a victory over Missouri S&T in the opening game of a four-game series at Missouri S&T. Bradley yielded two runs, both of which were unearned, on four hits with two strikeouts in 5.1 innings pitched.
