The Concordia-St. Paul lacrosse team is set to kick-off their 2026 campaign on Feb. 13, facing the Timberwolves of Northwood University at the Concordia Dome.
THOUGHTS ON THE SEASON FROM COACH JENNINGS
“This year’s squad, the buy-in has been outstanding from these girls. As a coach you don’t always see every person buy-in and this year the vibes from this group are great. They really challenge themselves and challenge each other in practice and there are some big goals on the table for this team and I think that’s really being led by our senior group that’s put a lot of time and energy in this program. I am excited to see if we can get the goals accomplished this spring!
The Golden Bears return for the 2026 campaign after seeing their best GLIAC finish to date and notching eight All-GLIAC Players along with the GLIAC Coach of the Year Ali Jennings.
The Navy and Gold return a strong group of players including last season’s GLIAC Midfielder of the Year Susie Monson and GLIAC Defender of the Year Claire Flahaven. Monson tallied a GLIAC leading 1.76 assists per game and 5.47 draw controls with Flahven recording 26 caused turnovers, 1.73 per game. The squad will also see Kayleigh Nelson and Anna Palony step into expanded roles after earning All-GLIAC Honorable Mention accolades.
The program returns 17 student-athletes and adds one sophomore transfer in addition to a strong freshman class that includes five midfielders, two attacks and two defenders. The freshman class will work to make an early impact on a squad that is looking to pick-up where they left off.
