GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its awards following the second week of play of the 2026 women's lacrosse season. Concordia-St. Paul swept the honors with senior midfielder Susie Monson (offensive) and senior defender Claire Flahaven (defensive) receiving recognition.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Susie Monson, Concordia-St. Paul
Susie Monson earns her first GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week accolade of the season after reaching the 100 career goal milestone this past weekend. Monson notched a GLIAC leading 14 draw controls while adding four goals, two assists, four ground balls and three caused turnovers to lead the Golden Bears to a 1-1 split. Her 7.00 draw controls per game ranks first in NCAA Division II.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Claire Flahaven, Concordia-St. Paul
Claire Flahaven earns her first first GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season after tallying five ground balls and three caused turnovers to lead the defensive effort for the Golden Bears. Her 1.73 caused turnovers per game rank second in the conference as she extended her program-leading caused turnovers to 101.
