GLIAC and FloSports extend exclusive media partnership

GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) and FloSports are extending their exclusive media partnership, bringing premier NCAA Division II athletics to streaming audiences nationwide on FloCollege. The agreement follows a record-breaking Fall season on FloCollege with more than 1.1 million total viewers, 6.8 million video views, 56.9  million live minutes streamed, and 38.9 million impressions on social media to date.

With this multi-year extension, going through the 2031 season, both organizations affirm a shared vision of elevating Division II collegiate athletics in today’s digital landscape. Fans of GLIAC athletics will benefit from seamless access to high-quality coverage, while institutions within the conference gain access to the FloCollege platform to showcase their programs, student-athletes and brand.

Founded in 1972, the GLIAC has grown into one of the strongest athletic conferences in Division II, with 57 national championships — including 44 since the year 2000. The GLIAC's footprint spans the Great Lakes states of Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin and includes the two largest media markets in the Midwest -- Chicago and Detroit. All 11 GLIAC members' media rights are covered under this partnership: Davenport University, Ferris State University, Grand Valley State University, Lake Superior State University, Michigan Technological University, Northern Michigan University, University of Wisconsin–Parkside, Purdue University Northwest, Roosevelt University, Saginaw Valley State University and Wayne State University.

“The GLIAC’s continued relationship with FloSports further strengthens our ability to connect with fans wherever they are,” said commissioner Kris Dunbar. “This extension ensures consistent, top-tier coverage that highlights the passion, talent, and competitive spirit of our teams and is a key part of maintaining our conference’s position at the forefront of NCAA Division II.”

Mike Levy, Senior Vice President of Rights & Acquisitions at FloSports, added: “The GLIAC represents the very best of Division II athletics — elite competition, strong institutions and rich history. It’s exactly the kind of offering that we want on the FloCollege platform and one that we believe can benefit from more national exposure.”
