No. 10 Grand Valley State 37, Davenport 14

ALLENDALE, Mich. -- #10 Grand Valley State returned to the gridiron Saturday afternoon before a Family Day crowd of 15,188 and claimed a 37-14 victory over Davenport in the GLIAC opener. The Lakers, which improved to 8-0 all-time versus Davenport, are 3-1 overall and 1-0 in GLIAC action, while Davenport falls to 2-2 and 0-1.
