Week 4 of the 2026 GLIAC football season is a time for rest and recuperation for the majority of the conference, with only two of eight league teams in action.

Coming off a bye week, No. 1 Ferris State (3-0) looks to extend its nation-leading 33-game winning streak when it hosts NAIA foe Kentucky Christian (1-3). Game time is set for 3 p.m. at Top Taggart Field in Big Rapids. 

Saturday's matchup is the Bulldogs' Homecoming game. A year ago, FSU topped Rio Grande 76-0 on Homecoming.

Kentucky Christian opened the season with a 44-24 win over GLVC foe Kentucky Wesleyan before dropping three-straight, including losses to Division I FBS schools Morehead State (75-24) and Chicago State (78-7). 

Wayne State (0-3) travels to Illinois to face Quincy (1-2) in the Warriors' nonconference finale. Kick off is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET at QU Stadium.

GLIAC play begins next week, featuring No. 1 Ferris State at Northern Michigan, No. 6 Grand Valley State vs. Wayne State, No. 18 Davenport at Saginaw Valley State and No. 24 Michigan Tech at Roosevelt.
