GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its awards following the ninth week of the 2026 softball season. Grand Valley State swept the honors, with freshman shortstop Camryn Hall receiving GLIAC Player of the Week honors and sophomore righthander Karli Dorr earning GLIAC Pitcher of the Week accolades.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Camryn Hall, Grand Valley State
Freshman Camryn Hall has been named the GLIAC player of the week for the first time in her collegiate career. Hall batted 8-12 (.667) over the two doubleheaders against Roosevelt and Parkside. Hall batted a perfect 3-3 with a season high four runs scored and two RBI in the 11-3 game two win vs Roosevelt. She recorded two hits in both games against Parkside, scoring two runs in the 6-0 win in game one. On the season, Hall leads the GLIAC batting .453 with 60 hits.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Karli Dorr, Grand Valley State
Sophomore pitcher Karli Dorr has been named the GLIAC pitcher of the week for the first time this season. Dorr tossed her first no-hitter in her collegiate career in the 6-0 game one win against Parkside. She struck out seven batters and allowed just three walks in the no-hit complete game shutout. Dorr became the 12th Laker in program history to throw a no-hitter. Dorr also allowed no earned runs in her start against Roosevelt. She threw all seven innings striking out 10 Roosevelt batters while allowing just three hits. On the season, Dorr ranks second in the GLIAC with 99 strikeouts and is fourth with a 2.09 ERA.
