GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its weekly awards following the ninth week of play of the 2025 women's lacrosse season. Concordia St. Paul swept the honors, with junior midfielder Susie Monson earning GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week and freshman goalkeeper Katie Colleran receiving GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Susie Monson, Concordia St. Paul
Susie Monson earns her second career GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week honor and was pivotal in the Golden Bears win over Northern Michigan. Monson recorded five goals, an assist and eight draw controls to lead both teams while continuing to lead the GLIAC in total assists, assists per game and draw controls per game. She has been monumental in leading the Navy and Gold to a 3-1 conference record so far this season.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Katie Colleran, Concordia St. Paul
Katie Colleran earns her first GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week accolade and is just the third CSP goalkeeper to earn the honor. Colleran has been monumental for the Golden Bears after making 11 saves this past weekend to guide Concordia to the win over Northern Michigan. She allowed just nine goals on 23 shots faced in the victory. She has been an important piece of getting the Golden Bears to a 3-1 conference record.
