GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its weekly awards following the 10th week of play of the 2025 women's lacrosse season. Concordia St. Paul junior midfielder Susie Monson was named GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week while Davenport senior midfielder Theadora Krueger was selected as GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Susie Monson, Concordia St. Paul
Susie Monson recorded five goals over the weekend including four in the win over Davenport while adding three assists to become the program’s all-time career leader in assists. Monson added to her exceptional weekend with 13 draw controls, three ground balls and four caused turnovers. She currently leads the GLIAC in total assists, assists per game, draw controls per game and has been a pivotal aspect for the Golden Bears.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Theadora Krueger, Davenport
Theadora Krueger of the Davenport University women’s lacrosse team has been named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) women’s lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday. The senior helped guide the Panthers to a 1-1 record on the week, totaling nine caused turnovers and eight ground balls between those two contests. In the 11-9 victory over Northern Michigan on Sunday, she tied the all-time DU record with 90 caused turnovers. Krueger also added two goals in the victory. Looking ahead, Krueger and the Panthers will travel across town to Grand Valley State on Friday (April 18).
