GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its weekly awards following the sixth week of competition of the 2025 cross country season. Saginaw Valley State's Jack Lobodzinski and Michigan Tech's Hannah DuPuis received honors for their standout performances.

MALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Jack Lobodzinski, Saginaw Valley State
Jack Lobodzinski led the 10th-ranked Cardinals to a second-place finish at the Lewis Crossover in Romeoville, Illinois, this past Saturday. Lobodzinski placed fourth out of nearly 400 runners in the men's 8K race and ran a career-best 23 minutes and 58.4 seconds. SVSU tallied three top 10 individual finishes and earned four spots in the top 20, defeating 10 other ranked opponents, including a top 10 team and eight more in the top 25. Lobodzinski earned his first career GLIAC Athlete of the Week honor, marking the second such award for the Cardinal men's cross country team this season.
FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Hannah DuPuis, Michigan Tech
Michigan Tech cross country freshman Hannah DuPuis has been named GLIAC Athlete of the Week. The accolade marks the second women’s cross country student-athlete to earn GLIAC Athlete of the Week honors, while it is the first for the freshman. DuPuis, a native of Caledonia, Michigan, was the low-stick for the Black & Gold as the top-finisher for the Huskies for the first time in her young career, claiming 24th-place in a personal-best 22:05.1 at the most competitive Division II race of the season—the Lewis Crossover, which showcased 36 teams and over 336 runners. She helped the Huskies to a 17th-place team finish and was the fifth-fastest freshman in the field.
