HAMMOND, Ind. -- Thirty-eight NCAA Division II women's volleyball teams, representing three conferences, will descend upon Hammond, Ind. this week for the largest collegiate volleyball event in the country. The 2025 Midwest Region Volleyball Crossover Tournament will held at the Hammond Sportsplex from October 17-18 featuring teams from the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) and the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC).
Each team will be guaranteed three matches and every session will utilize as many as eight courts at once.
“The Midwest Region Volleyball Crossover enters its 17th year with great anticipation for another memorable tournament in Hammond this fall," said GLIAC Commissioner Kris Dunbar. Together with the GLVC and G-MAC, we’re proud to create a competitive and rewarding experience for student-athletes representing 38 institutions across the Midwest. Fans can expect an outstanding weekend filled with top-tier volleyball and a welcoming community atmosphere.”
The GLIAC will field a total of 11 teams, the GLVC will have 14 institutions competing, and the G-MAC will travel 13 different programs.
Ferris State, the nation's No. 14-ranked team, is the GLIAC’s 1-seed, Findlay is the top seed in the Great Midwest and Missouri-St. Louis is the No. 1 seed from the GLVC.
The first session starts at 9 a.m. CT on Friday morning, followed by sessions at 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 7 p.m.
Live stats will be provided for all courts, while every match will also be live streamed through BallerTV. Links to both coverage options will be available on the tournament website.
At the conclusion of the two-day event, the Midwest Region Crossover All-Tournament Team will be announced.
