Swimming & Diving National Qualifiers3/9/10 Bay City, Mich.--The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) will be well represented this week in Canton, Ohio for the 2010 Division II Swimming & Diving National Championship. The event will run from March 10-13, 2010 and will be hosted by Lock Haven University. Seven schools are being represented including, Ashland, Findlay, Grand Valley State, Hillsdale, Indianapolis, Lewis, and Wayne State. 101 student-athletes will compete in 21 events. Trials will begin each day at 10:30 am and finals will start at 6:00pm. |

Wayne State's Hogle Named GLIAC Women's Swimming & Diving "Athlete of the Year"2/18/10 Bay City, Mich.--Wayne State University's Elaina Hogle (Kentwood, Mich./East Kentwood) was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's swimming and diving athlete of the year and University of Indianapolis' Maura Donahue (Milan, Mich.) received freshman of the year honors and Sean Peters of Wayne State was tabbed as coach of the year. |
