Offensive Player Of The Week
Joel McDaniel - Finday
(SR, RB, 6-2, 215, Leipsic, Ohio)

  University of Findlay senior running back Joel McDaniel recorded his third career 200-yard game with 212 yards on 28 carries in the Oilers’ 38-22 win over Mercyhurst. He scored four touchdowns in the game and averaged 7.6 yards per carry during the contest. His scores came on runs 9, 1, 4, and 39 yards. McDaniel currently leads his team and ranks fourth in the GLIAC, averaging 110.3 rushing yards per game.

Erik Schumacher - Ferris State
(SR, DE, 6-4, 248, Lake Isabella, Mich./Beal City)
  Ferris State University senior defensive end Erik Schumacher helped the Bulldogs shut down the Gannon offense in a 48-14 triumph Saturday. Schumacher tallied eight tackles, including four solo stops. He also had 2.5 tackles for loss, which resulted in -15 yards. Schumacher registered 1.5 sacks for a total loss of 14 yards. His performance helped the Bulldog defense limit the Knights to 218 total yards, most of which came in the final quarter.

Matt Vanover - Hillsdale
(SR, P, 5-10, 195, Adrian, Mich.)
  Senior punter Matt Vanover played a key role in the Chargers’ 35-21 win over Wayne State Saturday afternoon. Vanover punted three times for an average of 48 yards per punt. He also booted a 61-yard punt that forced Wayne State to start a drive from its own one-yard-line. It’s the third punt of 60 or more yards Vanover has kicked this season.
